A personal subsidy can cover expenses for glasses, medicine, dentistry, physiotherapy and expenses for heating and petroleum.
How much can you get in personal subsidy?
A personal subsidy depends on your financial and personal circumstances. The municipality will estimate the liquid fortune and other sources of income (apart from the social pension) of each applicant. You can apply for a personal subsidy if you are receiving early retirement pension according to the old rules (early retirement before January 1st, 2003).
A personal subsidy is not taxable.
